  • Golf Tournament
    7:30 AM - 12:30 PMGolf & Lunch at the East Potomac Golf Course
    Enjoy the beautiful East Potomac Golf Course, 10 minutes from the JW Marriott, for the 1st Annual NSRMCA Golf Tournament! The format will be Four-Man Scramble with prizes awarded to the Top 3 Teams.

    7:30 AM bus departure provided by Jubb's bus service, from The JW Marriott hotel, Pennsylvania Ave Entrance, to the East Potomac Golf Course, 972 Ohio DR SW, Washington, DC. Enjoy a golf outing followed by lunch, awards and a raffle. 12:20 PM bus transportation will be available from the Golf Course back to The Marriott by 12:30.

    Enjoy a short walk from the Marriott Hotel on a self-guided tour of the famous National Mall.

    For more than 200 years, the National Mall has symbolized our nation and its democratic values, which have inspired the world. The National Mall - the great swath of green in the middle of our capital city and stretching from the foot of the United States Capitol to the Potomac River - is the premiere civic and symbolic space in our nation.

    National Mall and Memorial Parks protects the national mall and its iconic monuments and memorials and over 1,000 acres of greenspace in Washington, D.C.. Come to visit the National Mall and stay to explore all that National Mall and Memorial Parks has to offer.

    Bus transportation provided for pick up as needed at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, at the end of The National Mall in front of the Lincoln Memorial, back to The Marriott. Please look for the yellow school bus on the left side of the Memorial, as you are facing the building.

    Karen McCormick, the Government Relations Manager at the USPS will meet the group at 10 am to help guide you through the museum and answer any questions.

    Bus transportation provided by Jubb's Bus Service to and from the Marriott hotel, Pennsylvania Ave Entrance for departure at 9:00 AM. Pick up will be promptly at 12:30 PM in front of the Museum.

    The Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum is dedicated to the preservation, study and presentation of postal history and philately. The museum uses exhibitions, educational public programs and research to make this rich history available to scholars, philatelists, collectors and visitors from around the world.

The national convention prayer breakfast is a longstanding tradition. This event, which takes place on Monday, August 7, is a separately ticketed event. Please purchase a ticket for each attendee/guest that will take part. Space is limited. Tickets will not last.

Please join us for the Region Night Celebration and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, August 8th from 6pm-10pm. Enjoy cocktails, dinner, remarks from special guests, awards, and much more! US Postal Museum Tour (Bus transportation provided)

The Smithsonian National Postal Museum is a spectacular museum located in Washington, D.C. NSRMCA is a founding member and a prominent display within the museum tells the story of Star Route and Highway Contract Route suppliers. Join us at the museum to explore postal history.

Bus will depart at 9:30 AM on Saturday August 5th from the JW Marriott hotel, Pennsylvania Ave Entrance and pick up at 11:30 AM in front of the US Postal Museum.
